Close Quarters in the Woodford Reserve, giclee canvas prints
I was commissioned by Brown - Forman Beverages of Louisville, Kentucky to do a painting for use on their bourbon label. They produce Woodford Reserve, the official bourbon of the Kentucky Derby, and they sponsor the Grade I Woodford Reserve Turf Stakes, the race prior to the Derby. They had seen my art, and knew that I was a retired jockey. Brown - Forman only produced 30,000 bottles with this label. For them to ask me to do the '09 label was quite an honor and a great feather in my cap.
