Bay Meadows, the End of an Era, giclee canvas prints

I was commissioned by Bay Meadows to do a painting for them just before they closed in 2008. They made posters out of it. The silks are the colors worn by famous racehorse who ran at Bay Meadows. Starting on the left are the colors worn by Seabisuit, Charismatic, Citation, Lost in the Fog, and John Henry.

    I miss Bay Meadows

    I got one of thes prints on closing day of Bay Meadows. Tom was out there selling his work. He was so nice.
    I absolutely love this print. I really miss Bay Meadows.
