As a former thoroughbred jockey, I know a great horse race when I see one. My favorite race of all time was when Sunday Silence beat Easy Goer by a nose in the 1989 Preakness Stakes. 

Sunday Silence was named 2025 Horse of the Year for Bourbon County, Kentucky, so we decided to do a Christmas/Holiday painting, featuring him. Then we decided to make these cards.
